A striking vintage?carnelian ring from the 1950s! This artistic hand wrought?ring is made of?silver?and holds a beautiful?carnelian stone?at its center. The smoothly polished carnelian has a rich, warm orange color and slight translucence, revealing subtle bands within. Surrounding the stone is a decorative border?comprised of coiled wirework that frames the bezel setting. A natural patina rests within the grooves of the design, adding further depth to the design. Completing the piece is a textured?band with a simple ridged design. The back of the setting is stamped with two maker's hallmarks, which are difficult to interpret due to normal wear, but one appears to read "800."? A fantastic everyday ring, it has very bold?look and would make a stylish statement!
